Duffers' Christmas Food Baskets
The Christmas Food Basket Program is a seasonal Duffer activity that began in 1995. Duffers’ Joe Ransom, James Ransom, and James Coleman (past president) wanted a program that would identify and fed needy families during the Christmas holiday. The Program would be funded by the Duffers and from community donations. Also, each year the Duffers would sponsor an annual 2-man turkey shoot scramble tournament, where all proceeds go to the Christmas Basket Program. All Duffers are asked to help prepare and deliver the food baskets a week before Christmas.
The Nashville Duffers would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Kroger’s on Dickerson Rd for their many contributions. The Duffers would also like to extend a special thanks to Erbie Brooks, the Master of Fundraising.
